VELVET DREAMING is the electro-pop project of 22-year-old Kade Thibodeau (they/them). Born and raised in Brooklyn, they moved to Boston in their early teenage years and soon began immersing themselves in the rich Boston area DIY punk and indie scenes. Inspired by their involvement in the DIY scene and a lifelong love of pop music, they began writing songs for the project that would soon become VELVET DREAMING in late 2021.
Their first release, BODYMOVE, was entirely self-produced, written, mixed, and independently released in October 2022.
